The Company:
One of the leading general construction
companies in Saudi Arabia established in the 1950's. The company is a rated
"A" construction company, executing mega projects in buildings,
infrastructure, water & sewage and maintenance.
Position:
Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly to
the CEO.
Requirements:
- 20 to 30 years of general construction experience, with at least 10 years in a senior managerial role.
- Experience in the GCC, and preferably Saudi Arabia, with large and multiple projects, dealing with government, local/ international contractors and local/ public authorities.
- Proven track-record for managing large-scale construction projects with all aspects related to design, engineering estimation, planning and scheduling.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals and contracts at the highest level, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Field oriented personality effective on the sites and in the board room.
- Energetic, motivating person with ability to recruit, develop and retain high-caliber individuals from different countries/cultures.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering from a recognized reputable University, a Master degree in definitely is a plus.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English.
- Strong computer knowledge of all main construction/ design software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation:
The successful candidate will be paid a
